暑假開始，網路散步的時候無意間發現以前喜歡玩的模擬城市已經出新版的『模擬城市：夢之都』及其資料片『度假天堂』，哇塞！我最喜歡玩的遊戲，雖然從早期的模擬城市、模擬城市2000、模擬城市3000、模擬城市3000探索無限、模擬城市：福爾摩沙（模擬城市4）及尖峰時刻玩到現在每次都是以破產收終，被趕下台，可是我還是要玩新版的，不過最後可惜的『夢之都』我的電腦配備會使遊戲不順暢，只好又回到『福爾摩沙』的懷抱，這次玩的是模擬城市4豪華版，然後再
破解，再把它
中文化。
這次玩的心得進步了不少，經過不知幾次的破產終於有點頭緒了：
1、先在想建設的地圖的周圍的地圖預先隨便建設一些設施及產生一點人口，重點是必須建設水管及道路與鄰近城市相連。
2、開始建設自己的城市。
3、首先先蓋天然氣發電廠，然後周圍蓋一點點工業區（我是以中密度工業起家），然後相隔一小段距離的地方規劃低密度住宅區，也就是兩規劃區之間中間有地圖一開始的『樹』。
4、對了，也要建設道路與相鄰城市相連。水管也是。
5、因為一開始人口很少，所以支出裡的電力及水資源我調至20%左右，夠用就好。
6、收入的一部分絕大部分會來自於鄰近城市的買賣，有來買的就盡量賣，收入要大於平衡，賣就對了。
7、看著RCI的需求表慢慢蓋吧！通常這樣資金會都是正值。^^
不過到後來我還是使用
搖錢樹來快速增加資金，哈！因為我沒那麼多時間慢慢玩了。^^
